This Engineer will be primarily responsible for the Design and Implementation of IP data networks (LAN and WAN), Internet, VPNs, and advanced Network Services such as Server Load Balancing, Dynamic Site Selection, and Firewalls - at an Enterprise level. This includes infrastructure Planning, Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Technical documentation, Reporting and 3rd Level Escalated Support.
Requirements:
-6+ years of Network engineering experience
-Ability to meet with client business units (preferably in a Finance environment), obtain requirements, analyze options, and provide solutions for multiple concurrent projects.
-Must have proven knowledge of and experience with Data Center design methodologies, ‘modular’ network design, and be prepared to discuss these in great detail.
-Enthusiastic about expanding knowledge with new technologies and design concepts.
-Advanced knowledge of Multicast and Routing/Switching protocols ( Required OSPF/BGP)
-Advanced knowledge of MPLS based Layer 3 VPNs (Knowledge of NextGen MVPNs and VPLS is a plus)
-In-depth knowledge of firewall/DMZ architecture and perimeter network security.
-Working knowledge of Quality of Service, Policy Routing, NAT, IPSec, VLANs, and load balancing techniques.
-Advanced knowledge of Juniper JUNOS (Candidate should at least have JNCIS certification. Hands-on experience with Juniper M-Series, MX-Series, EX-Series and J-Series is a must. Any knowledge of WX-series and CTP products is a plus)
-Knowledge and experience with Cisco IOS is a plus.
-Experience with F5 Loadbalancers is desirable
-Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls desirable
-Excellent analytical, organizational, time management and problem solving skills are essential.
-As part of global engineering team, documentation management skills are must.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to interact professionally with executives, customers, vendors and department staff. This is a highly-interactive position; you will interface daily with internal and external customers, and must maintain a professional demeanor.
